NEW BUILDING AND NEW POSITIONS IN HELSINKI

The Department of Chemistry, University of Helsinki, Finland, is
moving to new premises on the Kumpula campus, about 5 km north 
from the city centre. As a matter of fact, all other laboratories
are there already and the Laboratory for Swedish-Speaking Students,
formerly at Et. Hesperiankatu 4, is scheduled to move on 2-3 May. 
   For Professor Pekka Pyykko", Mr. Nino Runeberg and Dr. Dage 
Sundholm (as to his home laboratory), the new coordinates are:

The REHE Steering Group Chairman, Professor Pekka Pyykko", has been
nominated to a Research Professorship of The Academy of Finland for
the five-year period 1 August 1995 - 31 July 2000. An acting professor
will take care of the normal duties meanwhile. 
   A project in relativistic quantum chemistry will be applied for and 
in it there may be room for 1-2 postgraduate students, aiming at a
Helsinki Ph.D., and possibly about one post-doctoral scientist.
